Development community theater Forsvik
The project consists of an investment in a new grandstand for Smofa's theater Gjuteriet at Forsvik's mill for the development of youth, adult, and professional educational work for Swedish culture in the countryside.
About the project
Smofa wants to continue establishing professional culture in the countryside through the project. Within the project, Smofa will write and develop entertainment in theater and film that tells stories that have had and have significance for Skaraborg and Sweden, based on the history of Forsvik's mill and Skaraborg.
Through a new, renovated, and expandable grandstand, it will be possible to accommodate the number of people in the venue that it is approved for, thereby offering more seats for each performance. The grandstand will also mean that the theater can be rented out for larger lectures or gatherings and conferences. It will be possible to offer school theater for entire grades and benefit other organizers and producers, locally, regionally, and nationally.
Development of Forsvik community theater
The project also benefits our partners. The theater activities during the summer attract visitors to local entrepreneurs such as
Forsvik's mill museum, the National Theater Association, and the Forsvik Interest Association.
