Creative Actors Skaraborg targets creative entrepreneurs in Skaraborg and is run by us and Leader Östra Skaraborg in collaboration.

We promote creative industries in Skaraborg.

Here you will find information about our previous project, which was conducted during the period 2021-2024. And our new project, which runs until December 2027.

Purpose of the project 2021-2024

The project was implemented to promote growth and development among entrepreneurs in cultural and creative industries in northwestern Skaraborg. The project aimed to promote these industries through networking, skills development, and product and service development, which strengthened their business acumen and competitiveness. KKN also plays a key role in the transition to a sustainable society by contributing innovations and new ways of working.

Our experiences from previous projects, such as KKN along the Kinnekulle Line, showed that companies within KKN had a continued great need for networking, contacts, and idea exchange. The project offered new opportunities for collaboration, experience sharing, and resource sharing. The project contributed to making northwestern Skaraborg an attractive place for both residents and visitors by putting the area on the map as a region where cultural and creative companies thrived. The project built on these experiences and strengthened the infrastructure that was created, such as the network and the brand Creative Actors Skaraborg. Through the project's efforts, we have strived to strengthen the region's KKN companies, create sustainable collaborations, and contribute to a vibrant countryside with increased growth.

Purpose of the project 2025-2027

With networking meetings, knowledge-enhancing initiatives, and experience exchanges with other creative clusters in the region, the companies will have good conditions for growth and sustainability. The project will establish a permanent organization to ensure long-term development of the cultural and creative industries in Skaraborg. A working group will be formed, consisting of creators from different industries, who will drive the spread of the network and the companies.

The project is co-financed by Skaraborg's Municipal Federation. Skills-enhancing initiatives are co-financed by the Cultural Academy.

The project runs until December 31, 2027.
