SKARA'S PANTRY
The project aims to promote the local food culture and establish Skara municipality as a unique destination within meal tourism.
About the project
At the request of the restaurant industry, Skara municipality wants to start a project to increase the sustainability and resilience of businesses within the restaurant and café sector. The idea is to help them incorporate more locally produced ingredients into their menus. Together with the businesses, the municipality wants to develop a joint plan for Skara's Pantry, and individual business and marketing plans for the restaurant companies.
To incorporate more locally produced ingredients into the menus, a strengthened local network between producers and restaurants is needed, which will ultimately increase both sustainability and resilience for both.
