Completed activities

Nellie, Lowa, Elsa and Emma study different directions at the agricultural school Sötåsen. They wanted to create an inclusive activity for all students at the school, to strengthen the community across classes. They have received good help from the school staff to for example apply for police permits. A total of 30 drivers youths and more in decorating the vehicles. It all ended with a brilliant Lucia parade through Töreboda with over 1000 spectators. They proudly stated that ”Now we have started a tradition! All materials will be saved for next year, and then, it will be even bigger!” 

Ester and Fredrik took the initiative to organize an epameeting with a competition for the best sound and the best-looking vehicle. They had staff from the youth center with them who supported and were present during the day. ”It was so fun that something happened for us on the weekend. All epas in the whole municipality came!”. 

Arvid and Emelie have been into computer games for a long time. Together with the parents” association in Älgarås, they organized a LAN during the Christmas break, where there were competitions, a segment on ”the history of the computer" and a greeting to the participants from gamer Kevzter. ”It was fun that something happened in Älgarås, and as far as I know, there has never been a LAN here before.”.  

Thea and Vilma attended the Agricultural School Sötåsen and brought their dogs with them. They organized two lectures on the relationship between humans and dogs, for other students at the school. ”We were surprised that the speakers we asked were so positive and took us seriously even though we were youths. Even if we didn't always get a yes, they were so positive and encouraging.”
