EDITH'S GUESTHOUSE

Karlsborg's hostel & bed and breakfast is run in ”Gula Villan” in a property that was built in 1896 and is located adjacent to Karlsborg's fortress. The property has been used by the military before it became a hostel. The property is in need of both exterior and interior maintenance. The furnishings mainly consist of decor from the 1990s and are not period-typical.

The goal of the project is to replace all worn-out furnishings in a sustainable way so that the house endures in a period-typical style in the long term. The activities in the project include purchasing and preparing the house's 22 guest rooms and common areas.
