We Rural Builders Skaraborg are a community for entrepreneurs in the countryside. Here we meet to inspire each other, share experiences, find new collaborations, and develop our businesses with strength in what we have close.
On October 22, we will meet at Österplana AgriTurismo for a networking event on the theme of local strength, building the business on the resources of the place.
It will be an afternoon and evening where we mix inspiration and new perspectives with conversations, meetings, taste and music experiences.
During the evening, we will also find out who will be the Rural Builder of the Year Skaraborg 2026.
For those of you who run a business and operations in the countryside or have an idea you want to develop.

Program
15.30 we kick off with a startup coffee. Then we will fill up with inspiration from Johan Blidberg from Lis Mejeri in Halland. The chef and entrepreneur who, together with his family, has turned an old dairy in the countryside into a unique restaurant experience.
With Johan, the place gets to have a say. Local ingredients, what is nearby, and a healthy dose of curiosity become both food and business idea. He will talk about daring to believe in what we have around us and making something really good out of it.
And of course, there will be a little challenge. We will find out how taste-secure you really are…
18.00 there will be a kickoff mingle with something nice in the glass and snacks.
Great food awaits with a two-course dinner and chat with the driving forces behind Österplana Agriturismo, Josefin Thor and Patrik Fromell.
The evening's guide
With us through the afternoon and evening, we have Marylin Odermatt. Young entrepreneur, raised both behind and on stage, with a knack for making things happen. She keeps the threads together and takes us through the evening.

Who will be the Rural Builder of the Year Skaraborg 2026?
We meet our three finalists before it's time to reveal who will take home this year's award. A tribute to the people who, with drive, perseverance, and love for their place, are helping to build the rural areas of Skaraborg.
And the entertainment? We’re not going to reveal that just yet. But we can promise that it will be noticeable and that there is reason to look forward to the evening a little extra.
We will wrap up sometime between 21:00 and 21:30.

Cost: 200 SEK per person, swish on site. Thanks to project funds, we can keep the cost for you as a participant to 200 SEK.
