IN the project, Axevalla folk high school will conduct a feasibility study for the design of a greenhouse that utilizes waste heat from the school's boiler. The greenhouse will function as a modern classroom where cultivation, recycling, and plant care are central. It creates an inclusive and safe learning environment, especially for those with challenges in traditional school, and develops understanding of sustainability – socially, economically, and environmentally. Participants can grow crops for the school kitchen and learn about circular economy through cycles and recycling.

LEARNING ENVIRONMENT GREENHOUSE AXEVALLA FOLKHIGH SCHOOL

After the feasibility study, we will seek funding for the implementation of the greenhouse, which will contribute to recruitment and knowledge in the region for sustainable resource use. The feasibility study includes drawings, cultivation understanding, building permits, and technical solutions for waste heat utilization. The result of the feasibility study will culminate in a project report.
