Education in fishing in Vänern
The project will organize workshops, training sessions, and information days to increase knowledge among different fishing groups.
About the project
During the training sessions, professional fishermen, tourist fishing entrepreneurs, sport fishermen, and authorities will learn more about Vänern's ecology and management measures, the benefits of accurate reporting of catches, and the authorities' work with fishing laws, regulations, and directives.
Authorities and researchers will in turn participate in the daily life on the lake to learn more about the practical execution of fishing and the experiences that exist from the ”field.”.
